Highlights during your summer holidays

International Choir Festival

The festival is taking place for the 20th time, with Olang and Bruneck having first staged it in 2004. The international choir festival takes place from 21st until 25th June 2017, during which thousands of singers transform the venues for this event into a colourful sea of costumes.

World Jazz in South Tyrol

For the 34th consecutive year South Tyrol is set to stage the South Tyrol Jazz Festival. For about ten days, from 30th June until 9th July 2017, a varied programme of internationally famous jazz musicians will make the hearts of music lovers beat faster!

Salon/e - Sundown Music Culture

Also this year every Thursday and Friday the Rathausplatz becomes a cultural playground from 16th June until 25th August 2017. The name ‘Salon’, or ‘Parlour’ was chosen carefully. In the past the parlours of the rich were hosts to the intellectual elites from the realms or music, art and culture to provide entertainment to the few. Bruneck Parlour is aimed at providing a public space open free of charge to all comers.

PEAKBREAK - The Alps Race

Many non-professional race bikers may dream of taking part in a race of several days like the “Tour de France” or the “Giro d´Italia”. Since 2008 PEAKBREAK - The Alps Race offers the chance to be in the middle of these breath-taking rides. Also Bruneck is part of this spectacular race. A perfect tour feeling will be guaranteed from 2nd until 8th of July 2017.

Bruneck Town Festival

It will soon be time again! From 28th until 30th July 2017 Bruneck will again be dominated by the traditional town festival. The festival features culinary delicacies, lots of music, attractive games and a special programme for kids, all of which brings people together for fun in the heart of Bruneck.

Midsummer Night's dream

Also this summer, on four Friday evenings: on the 04th, 11th, 18th and 25th August 2017 the shops and restaurants in Bruneck are open until 10.30 pm inviting visitors to stroll through the town and enjoy the delights on offer. Bands from the local music scene fill the town centre with music and the guided tour of Brunico by night will give you a chance to get to know the town.

Stegona Market

You don’t need to travel to Munich to the Oktoberfest or to the Prater in Vienna. Shop, celebrate and experience – you can do all this and more at Tyrol’s largest market from 26th until 28th October 2017. So what are you waiting for? Head for Stegen! As the old saying has it: “If you want to overwinter well, make sure you’ve been to Stegen Market”.
