Highlights during your winter holiday

Kronplatz - Plan de Corones

Our Hotel is very close to the biggest ski center of the whole South Tyrol area : the well-known Kronplatz - Plan de Corones  which opens from 26th November 2016 until 23rd April 2017 and is also attached to the biggest and adventurous ski-carousel Dolomiti SuperSki. That is the reason why Bruneck-Brunico is the most loved destination for winter holidays.

Christmas market

There are over 35 stalls selling wonderful hand-crafted items from 25th November 2016 until 06th January 2017, including Christmas tree decorations, wooden toys, leather, glass and ceramic goods, fragrant mulled wine, culinary specialities and much, much more. This isn’t just a place to buy and sell though; handicrafts and regional traditions take centre stage at the Christmas market.

Biathlon Weltcup

The biathlon world meets from the 19th - 22nd January 2017 in the Valley of Antholz. Marvellous and thrilling races, enthusiastic fans, world-mastership-atmosphere and the biathlon village. Athletes from all over the world take part in the biathlon which represents the international highlight in the World Cup calendar.

Torchlight hikes

Enjoy the fresh night-time air and a short winter's walk by torchlight  from December until April to the poetic setting of the "Kapplerstöckl" chapel starting from the center of the village. A special way to end a wonderful day's skiing among friends with mulled wine, tea, music and a great evening atmosphere by the fire.

New Year's Eve - ski show & fireworks

Organized in collaboration with the Ski School Kronplatz there will be the traditional downhill with torches presented by the ski instructors and the downhill with lanterns by children. Also, at 6pm, there will be big fireworks at the Kronplatz valley station and of course we have a galadinner with live music in our hotel!
