How can I confirm my booking?
Your reservation is confirmed only once you provide a credit card number with expiry date and a telephone number where we can reach you. You can pay the deposit via online bank transfer on our website or by transferring it directly to our bank account:

Which payments and payment methods are accepted?
Payment terms for Christmas and summer holiday periods:
For stays during the Christmas holidays (24/12–06/01) and during the Ferragosto/August holidays (10/08–20/08), the following conditions apply:
14 days before arrival: a 30% deposit is due.
This deposit will be charged to your credit card unless a 30% bank transfer has already been made.

For settling your hotel bill, we accept cash, major credit cards, as well as debit/EC cards. Please note the legal limit for cash payments.

What are the cancellation conditions?
We aim to be as flexible as possible for our guests.
There is no right of withdrawal under the Consumer Protection Code; however, we grant the following cancellation conditions:
Cancellation up to 15 days before arrival: no cancellation fee.
Cancellation within 14 days before arrival: a fee of 100% of the total booked amount applies.
Early departure, late arrival or no-show: cancellation fees of 100% apply for the booked, unused days.
Notice pursuant to Part III, Title III, Section I, of the Consumer Protection Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005).

Cancellation insurance
From experience we know that, despite looking forward to a holiday, unexpected things can happen at short notice. To save you and us costs and inconvenience, we strongly recommend taking out cancellation insurance: we suggest the travel cancellation protection, which can cover cancellation, early departure and mountain rescue (including helicopter rescue).
Are dogs welcome at Hotel POST?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your pet (with prior notice and your own blanket or basket). We charge € 20.00 per day, food not included. Please understand that pets are not allowed in the breakfast room or the wellness area.
How can I redeem a gift voucher?
Gift vouchers can only be redeemed via email to info@hotelpost-bruneck.com
Unfortunately, online redemption is not possible.
Are there special conditions for children and families?
We offer special children’s rates:
Up to 2 years: € 20.00 per day in a cot.
3–7 years: 60% discount in the 3rd and 4th bed.
8–11 years: 50% discount in the 3rd and 4th bed.
From 12 years: 30% discount in the 3rd and 4th bed in a double room. - How do I reach the hotel?
By car and motorbike:
Coming from Bolzano or the north, take the motorway exit Bressanone. Then continue on the SS49 to Brunico. Take the exit “Brunico West” and drive towards the town centre. You will find us directly on the main road in Via Bastione 9.
Coming from the east, take the B100 and the Puster Valley state road E66 to “Bruneck Centre” and drive towards the town centre. You will find us directly on the main road in Via Bastioni 9.
Important: it is not possible to drive to the hotel entrance by car!
The access Via Europa in front of our hotel is in a traffic-calmed restricted zone. A camera records unauthorised vehicles and a fine is issued automatically.

Drive straight into our hotel garage.
The entrance is on the main road in front of the hotel, marked with P (parking garage). Follow the Hotel POST signage to the right.
For the garage door to open automatically, we need your license plate number before arrival.
Vehicles higher than 2.10 m: please contact us before arrival to request a special permit.
Important: We do not accept liability for any fines incurred.
By train:
If you arrive in Brunico by train, please get off at Brunico station (not Brunico Nord). From there, walk along Via Europa towards the town centre; you will find us on the left after a few minutes. Alternatively, you can take a taxi or shuttle from the station. Please request the shuttle in advance via info@hotelpost-bruneck.com

By bus:
If you arrive in Brunico by bus, please get off at Brunico station. From there, walk along Via Europa towards the town centre; you will find us on the left after a few minutes. Alternatively, you can take a taxi or shuttle from the station. Please request the shuttle in advance via info@hotelpost-bruneck.com

By bike:
If you are travelling by bike, you can reach us directly via the Puster Valley Cycle Path, which runs between Rio di Pusteria and Lienz, straight to Hotel POST in Brunico.
Where can I park?
You are welcome to park in our private hotel garage with direct access to the hotel.
The entrance is on Graben, right in front of the hotel.
The parking fee is € 15.00 per day.
Important: it is not possible to drive to the hotel entrance by car!

What are the reception hours?
Our reception is staffed from 07:00 to 22:00.
If you arrive outside these hours, please inform us in good time of your approximate arrival time and leave us a mobile phone number, so we can ensure a smooth arrival. Hotel POST does not offer a night porter service.
When are check-in and check-out?
On arrival day, your room is available from 14:00. Check-in is possible between 14:00 and 22:00. If you arrive outside these hours, we will be happy to provide you with the code for the key box at the hotel entrance by phone.
On departure day, we kindly ask you to vacate the room by 11:00. We are happy to store your luggage on the day of departure. Early check-in and late check-out can be requested at reception for a fee, subject to availability.
Important information on arrival (ZTL) & check-in
Hotel POST is located in the town centre, within a ZTL (limited traffic zone). Driving up to the hotel entrance is not permitted for all cars and motorbikes. Please drive straight into our hotel garage (entrance on Via Bastioni).
For a smooth check-in, we need your vehicle licence plate in advance. We register it for garage access. Please send us your licence plate in good time before arrival.
Vehicles over 2.00 m in height: please contact us in advance so we can advise on the best access route. - Is there a bike storage room?
On basement level -2, you’ll find a secure bike room for storing your bicycle. It’s easily accessible by lift.
Do you offer bike and e-bike rentals?
Our partner rental offers professional bikes and e-bikes at a special rate. Pre-booking is possible. The rental shop is just a few minutes’ walk from Brunico station.
Do you provide services for cyclists?
As a Bett+Bike certified hotel, we meet ADFC cycle-friendly criteria: lockable bike storage, a drying room for clothing and equipment, one-night stays for cyclists (subject to availability), a repair kit and contact to the nearest workshop, regional tour information, a full breakfast for active guests, and luggage storage for cycling tour guests.
Is there a room for drying sports clothing?
Yes—use the boot dryers and drying cabinets in the depot for your sportswear.
Is there a ski depot?
You can store your skis safely in our ski depot. A ski-boot drying room is also available—so nothing stands in the way of a perfect ski day.
Is there a ski rental?
At the valley station of the Plan de Corones gondola, you’ll find several ski rentals offering equipment and depot service. Our partner rental provides a discount, and you can book your gear online before arrival.
Is there a shuttle service to Plan de Corones?
Hop on the ski bus and travel directly to the Plan de Corones valley station. The stop is right in front of the hotel (entrance COSMO restaurant) and is free with the Bruneck Kronplatz Guest Pass. The hotel also operates a regular shuttle service; timetables are available on site.
How far in advance should I book wellness treatments?
To secure your preferred time, we recommend booking treatments in advance. You’re welcome to contact reception before your stay at info@hotelpost-bruneck.com
When do I receive the Bruneck Kronplatz Guest Pass?
The Bruneck Kronplatz Guest Pass is included and provided free of charge in digital form before or at check-in. It allows local mobility and participation in the weekly programme. Public transport across Alto Adige is also free with the card on arrival and departure days.
Can I borrow an umbrella in bad weather?
Of course—umbrellas are available in the hotel and can be collected at reception. - Is breakfast included?
Overnight stays can be booked with breakfast included. For lunch and dinner à la carte, our restaurant COSMO is available.
What are the breakfast hours?
Enjoy our generous Hotel POST active breakfast daily from 07:00 to 10:00 and start your day full of energy. Please let us know in advance if you have any food intolerances so we can offer suitable alternatives.
Is there a restaurant in the hotel?
Yes, our restaurant COSMO and our bar lounge COSMO with large terrace, are located directly in the hotel. After a day full of experiences, enjoy a refreshing aperitif and discover outstanding culinary creations.
Can I add dinner?
To offer maximum flexibility, dinner is not a fixed part of your stay. You’re welcome to enjoy exceptional culinary moments at COSMO. Please reserve a table at reception or call +39 0474 834 000. - What can I do with the Bruneck Kronplatz Guest Pass? How does the guest card work?
With the guest card you can use public transport across Alto Adige free of charge and enjoy many leisure facilities at a reduced rate. It also gives you access to activities in the weekly programme around Plan de Corones and Brunico. You can find our personal highlights here.
What activities does the hotel offer?
Our Experience Guide takes you hiking twice a week to the most beautiful spots, viewpoints and mountain huts in the Dolomites.
What can I do in summer when the weather is bad?
Even in bad weather, Brunico has plenty to offer: sports lovers can head to the climbing hall and ice rink, and water fans will enjoy Cron4. The old town of Brunico is also great for browsing charming boutiques. Please note that some shops close on Saturday afternoon and on Sundays.
Which museums are nearby?
The hotel is an ideal base for exploring South Tyrolean culture. Just a short walk away you’ll find the Brunico City Museum and Castel Brunico with the Messner Mountain Museum Ripa. With bus and cable car, you can also reach LUMEN and the Messner Mountain Museum Corones in no time.
How far is the city centre?
The hotel is located right in the centre of Brunico, with its charming old town. We’re happy to inform you about the current programme in and around the town and the key sights in Brunico and the region. To get a preview, you can view our event calendar here—also shown at reception on the TV.
What’s the best way to get around locally?
With the Bruneck Kronplatz Guest Pass you can use public transport throughout Alto Adige free of charge and explore the area without parking stress or extra costs. Trains and buses run roughly every 30 minutes through the main valley and into the side valleys of the Val Pusteria.
