Brunico is a medieval little town in the heart of the Dolomites. The unique and colourful old town setting invites you to linger and stroll. Our tip: a visit to the Municipal Museum or to one of the impressive churches, which shows the rich facets of the town.

Bruneck Castle

Bruneck Castle, the former summer residence of the prince-bishops, majestically towers over the little alpine town and tells its stories from there. Today, known as the Messner Mountain Museum Ripa, the castle is dedicated to mountain peoples from around the world, as well as their cultures, religions and tourism movements. Furthermore, around the old walls the hilly landscape and forest ensembles provide a park and event locations.

Those who do not feel like nature or need a little break from skiing, hiking and co. can find various offers in the town of Brunico that are perfectly suitable in all weather conditions. The ice rink invites you to go iceskating and the climbing centre offers absolute climbing fun also indoors with a variety of programmes and courses. For water lovers, there is at Cron4 an indoor pool as well as a big outdoor pool for the perfect bathing experience.
